David Tollen was cited and relied upon as an expert witness in a December 2021 Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board decision, Akamai v. Commissioner of Revenue. David testified for Akamai, the prevailing party. More details about the decision are available here.
Also in 2021, the American Bar Association (ABA) published the third edition of The Tech Contracts Handbook by David Tollen. It’s the #1 bestseller from the ABA IP Section, and has been used in multiple law schools.
David’s law school class, Advanced IT Industry Contracts, continued at U.C. Berkeley Law School (f.k.a. Boalt) during the spring and summer of 2022.
